Hey everyone! I'm a product design student in Detroit. I'm trying to re-design a wake board tower. What kinds of things would you look for when picking a tower? Board Storage? Sound systems? Design? Strength? Let me know, be brutally honest.... Tell me what is missing from current towers, or what you like about the models you have. Also, what boats have you ridden behind that you like or hate....

Thanks a Lot!
You help is much appreciated...

something new. Malibu did it right when they designed the illusion x tower because it looks sick and has everything. but if I ever wanted to add anything it might be some sort of swivel mount for video camera's

On a side note: the new Nautique tower should be melted and thrown into a dark space in their storage place, that thing is hideous

I think that towers should:
-Be aesthetically pleasing (ie. accentuate, follow, or compliment a boat's lines. Traditional towers are not too bad at this, and the illusion X tower did well as well, the Nautique tower is like some growth that was just slapped onto the top of a vessel... come one, you design them together, make them look like one piece)
-Have efficient and easy to access storage for boards
-Do their job well, as in sturdy, and not much shaking.

Visibility, design, usability. Trying to make something that flows on all boats is the tough part.
