there's a national go skate day, why not a go wake day, or if that sounds lame to you, how 'bout go ride day? good enough reason to take a day off of work, right? we can all choose a date and keep that date every year. for example, let's say we pick august 3rd (no holidays in august). it falls on a monday this year, tuesday next year, etc.

cool? lame? tell me what you think. i won't be offended.

Sounds cool to me and that sounds like a great time of year to do it too.

same.

the only thing that would make it more difficult is that wakeboarding is more weather-reliant than skateboarding, but hey as long as it's under 20 mph winds i'll make a point of riding that day and get some video and pics

flixmaster, I worked at Executive Watersports for the past two years, and before that I taught my own private lessons. I'll be working on my own again this summer, better money. Plan on trying to get a little more into it once I'm out of school. I'm always on Lake Austin, so I kinda know BG and Lake Lessons etc. Met some of them at events and such, and otherwise post on 360wakeboard.com.

If you ever have anything going on, I'd love to help out.

I think this would be best to do the first saturday in august or something like that. I just figure it's a lot more likely, and why not do it in july when it's about the middle of summer?

July 13th has been dubbed by some people as the "Go Wakeboarding Day" and I thought Ronix's date was set as August 13th... not sure though

Google it, there's a few sources of previous dates set.

according to ronix go wakeboarding day is august 12th.. they're doin a contest this year, this is straight from the 09 catalogs we just got in at the shop- "snap a pic or a video clip and email us at 812@squareoneco.com. write a story about what you did that day that you have never done in wakeboarding. 3 of the most absurd, funny, maybe even heart warming stories will be published on our website along with receiving a free set up signed by emily, parks, chad and d harf"

come on warm weather...

For sure. Which booth will you be at? And what is your name? I'm Cameron. When I'm there I'll be between the 360wakeboard booth and probably hanging out at Pat McElhinney booth as well.
