So my first set on a flexboard was months ago behind the boat. I hated every minute of it, twitchy edging, kinda slow, and cased every jump. I resigned myself to thinking the redeeming quality of flexboards may be their performance on rails. Not. I can definitely press better on my substance, and the new base material on the SS Reflex is grippy as HELL. That and when you ollie, you leave the water about 2 seconds later than you would on a normal board. That was a fun learning experience, considering my first ollie was onto, or rather into, the side of the flat rail _________________

| LakeIolaLuke, glad to hear you gave them a second chance... although I don't get what you mean by leaving the water later on ollies? |

LakeIolaLuke, first off, the substance is one of the best boards ever. Second off, I think it's just a riding style thing. I personally love my SS Response just as much as my Substance so far, and I rode the substance for 5 years. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

LOL!!
I hope and pray that your first ollie wasn't an attempted backlip onto the flatbar that was unsuccessful because that is one sh*tty fall. _________________ Liquid Force

LakeIolaLuke, Shut up douche, no one cares about your sh*tty 2388 post opinion! Why don't you man up and spend 8 hours a day on internet forums like me? Then maybe we'd value your input
