The Motive is the most entry level board you can get from Hyperlite. Most Pro shops do not even carry that board in 2009. We only have one 2008 pulse 144 left at boardstop. http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?products_id=2789

This is the largest pulse they make so you need to be a big guy to ride this size.

i think i am going with the pulse...but i am about 5'11 170 so the 144 would be to to big..i'm not wanting a entry level board bc thats what i have now..looking for something with a smooth big pop and landing but has control at the same time

Do you have bindings already?

If you need a board and bindings.. take a look at some of the package deals that are available. You can get a good board and binding package. If you can find a 2008 you can get a closeout deal.

They have a 140. I think that would be a better size.
