2008 LF Melissa

Does anyone know a good place to buy the 2008 Melissa binding on closeout? I've been looking at these and actually had a good buy lined up on ebay and found out the size was different than listed. I could swear I've seen them somewhere online for $159.99 and for $139.99. I've found the higher price, but not the lower. Any suggestions? Anyone know someone closing out these bindings?

audrey tryed to get the 08 mellisas to match her 08 mellisa board, but they were sold out so she went with the amber wings, and loves them, although there alot like my cwb's, take forever to get in and out of.

STANG KILLA SS, LOL...that's cool man. Thanks for the info. I can find 'em online, just not the price I was hoping for. I actually won them on ebay for $60 shipped and then got an email that they listed the wrong size, so I'm getting just a refund. They have no more of the size I need for my wife. I've thought about getting the '07 Melissa's but my wife realllllly likes the velcro and I like the face the 08's have the heat moldable liner.

As far as I can tell the velcro straps replace the laces. I've heard lots of good things about the velcro versus the laces. It must work well and people must like it because most of the 2009 LF stuff is velcro now.

but it would cure the "$hit the pull string is behind my ankle" episodes i always get into Rolling Eyes

Yup, had those episodes myself. If we get her some, I'll try to give some feedback on how the velcro is compared to the laces.

the 07's are also heat moldable. LF's bindings are the best in the industry hands down IMO.

Cool...by the way, found some from the company I bought my board and bindings from last year. I would tend to agree with the statement about LF's bindings being the best. I've seen and tried on a few others and they just don't seem as "boot-like" and comfortable.

Careful when waiting on thes bindings - I tried the same thing to get my 07 Watson open toe. I wanted the blacks but everyone just had the reds. I waited too long and they were sold out everywhere! $150 is a FANTASTIC price! Jump on it!!!!
