|
|
I have a good place right off my land where I could build a stationary slider. I've been looking for some plans, but all I see is portable. I'm thinking stationary, just cause I won't have to move it and I won't have to worry about ppl stealing it. I've been looking around, but I haven't been able to find any plans on how to keep the thing secure in the ground. If anyone knows anything about this, it'd be great. |

I posted this on the other one too, but what the heck. This should be helpful.

I would say it all depend s how fast it drops off, and what kind of sand, mud, clay, you have out there,

yeah - what kind of bottom is it, that is going to determine a lot.
basically you just drive posts into the bottom, drive them pretty deep at least a couple of feet. Add some braces for support
this pic is from the projects in orlando. this should give you the basic idea. _________________ The answer is D - All of the above. |

It's a fairly slow incline with a pretty rocky surface and sand underneath.
It looks like in that picture the supports are only on the uphill side of the slider... And do you think I should use bigger posts than than 2x4s? Maybe 2 back to back, or something else? |
