What does everyone think of the NXE? The avatar/character thing is kinda cheesy. Hopefully xbox has some DLC that we can use to customize our characters.

Avatars are completly gay, but other than that I like the upgrade. The best part I like is the fact that you can Install your game onto your hardrive, and play the game off of the harddrive instead of the disk. It makes the xbox run a lot more quite, it doesn't get near as hot, and it will make it last longer.

if the hardrive thing is true thats sick, and does it mean that you could go to blockbuster and burn it to your harddrive and play it whenever?

Yea you still have to have the disk in. What you said was the first thing I thought of though, just go rent it and copy it to the harddrive. I bet it won't take long for people to find there way around this though.

I've already put gow2 on my harddrive. Xbox is much quiter, and lodaing times are not as long.

Nothing if you already have a Netflix account. I have 1 up from the bare bones account and it was free. 10 or 15 a month or something

The netflix hd streaming is really nice. I'm not a big fan of the avatars. The entire menu interface is much better and more intuitive to navigate. My optical drive is crazy loud, so loading games to the hard drive is great. I just wish I had a larger hard drive. Right now I can only fit one game on there.

And two channel audio on the netflix streaming stuff kinda sucks. They need to add 5.1

Uhh I have different opinions about it. The controls are kinda weird at first but once you get used to it the game gets better. You have to earn $$ to buy boards that help your riding. There are park, freestyle, and freeride boards all of which help you do different things. I went to play it the other day and somehow I had a billion dollars and could essentially buy everything. I do like the game though. As with all action sports games, if you made them realistic they wouldn't be any fun. Are you kingofthewake on xbl?
