All,

I just got a 7.1 system consisting of Energy Reference Conissour speakers and I am still deciding on an amp either Yamaha 6180/90 or 6290. I am looking for any suggestions as to what amp I should get but more importantly what height the side and rear speakers should be. Currently I plan on placing the rear speakers approx 7.5' off the floor and directing them down towards the seating area and the side speakers at ear level.
