The Panasonic HVX 200.
I am thinkin about buying this camera. Is there anything important i should that these reviews and stuff dont tell you?
What format is the video stored on the P2 cards.
If I'm just gonna film on minidv for now. is there a big difference b/t minidv ont the DVX 200 and my sony a1u? Or should i just keep the sony?

I think you mean the Panasonic HVX 200 not DVX. You can find all the info you could ever want and more on this camera here. www.dvxuser.com
This is a great camera and I wouldn't trade it for anything except a red. Well I guess it would depend on what I traded it for.

I don't know if I would trade for the hpx, I've been hearing mixed reviews. The standard exrta frame rates and the better low light image quality sounds good but I like my camera to feel professional. Plus that extra weight in the hand makes shooting from a chase boat that much smoother.
