Problems with External Hard Drive

Hey, I am having a problem with my external hard drive, it was originally set up under my F Drive on my laptop, though now it is under my G Drive.

This is a problem since I have all my pictures and music stored only on the external hard drive and they are filed under the F drive so when I open up iTunes, all my music files cannot be found and nothing works

How do I get my external hard drive to be relisted under the F Drive?

If it is windows, go to control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management. now click disk management and all your drives will show up. right click the drive you wanna change and select "change drive letter and paths"

this was off the top of my head, so it may not be the exact way to get to computer management, but everything after that should be good.
