DFW Cable Park

We are building a new Cable Park in the Texas DFW area, I got the ok to release some info.

Hey Jeff... It is probably okay to give out more information about the new cable lake in the DFW area... especially since digging began in earnest this morning at 8:00 a.m.

Approximately 3% of the lake was dug in a single day... not bad considering we were moving mostly rock....

The cable design will be either 5 or 6 towers, with the two longest runs being 590 ft each...

The approvals have been obtained...

Financing is in place...

Two water wells are in place and operational - to keep the lake filled during the hot, dry periods...

The cable design is being finalized and should be locked down by this Friday...

The location is at the site of the worlds' first Sports Car Country Club, www.motorsportranch.com, which is 14 miles southwest of Fort Worth. This pioneering concept was implemented 10 years ago and is now being copied in various locations around the country.

This site already hosts a premier sports car club venue. Amenities already include a convenience store and restaurant. Next month will see the opening of a large, sit down, steak and BBQ restaurant.

The lake itself should be dug by Christmas... Then a while to fill it...

Cable lake facility will be open in the early Spring.

Need a catchy name for this place... anybody have any ideas?

Yes it may be a little far for you, but how far are you from TSR?

Yes Stang Killa SS Innov8 is involved, we will be the pro shop on site and have been apart of this from the get go, be great to see you out here and get to meet you.

I live in Rockwall, so it will be a little bit of a trek for me as well. But im stoked about a cable somewhat close to me. Is it going to be up and running by spring break? Cause I would spend my whole break there! What brands is the pro shop gonna carry and what kind of obstacles are there going to be in the lake?

We are projected to open April of 09.
As far as design/obstacles and product for the pro shop, we will release that info at a later time.
