Far Cry 2

I am a nerd..it is true! HAHA Anyways, bought this game yesterday and it is freaking amazing. Haven't tried the multi-player yet, but it is supposed to be awesome. Just wondering if anyone else has had a chance to see this game in action.

You also better have a beast of a maching to run it...requires 1 gb RAM for XP and 2gb RAM for vista...I have 4gb, so I made it....also needs 12gb of your harddrive. Also, a mean graphics card is a must.

Ive got a copy coming with the new v card I just ordered. The first one was awesome, I expect nothing less from the 2nd.

Rhawn, it will blow you away....it is a 100% new engine developed just for this game. I have a gforce 8800 GT and have all the settings turned up and runs so smooth. More RAM the better imo.

Dp, did you ever get 2142? Still a damn good game. I might have to check out this as well. I wish you could rent PC games, because playing a demo rarely ever gives you the full experience of a game.

Is it the Crysis engine? Same company if I remember right.

I played 2142 for a while, it was aight. I played BF2 for ages, what a game. I hear BF3 is in the works.

Rhawn, no crysis is a different company and engine. The developer for crysis is Crytek and the FC2 developer is Ubisoft . However, crytek was the developer for the original FC.

Yeah I'm ready to see what the new BF 3 is going to look like. Hopefully it comes out sometime this year! Sure as hell isn't a whole lot of info out about it, but there is this website.

I got my vid card into today. Freaking thing is a BRICK. I quickly realized that I didn't have the 500W power supply that's required. BOOOO. NewEgg has a deal on a 700W that I ordered. Building gaming rigs is a PITA.
