Picked up first boat for $3k. Had to drive 6+ hours 1 way to get it but hope to do some wakeboarding next summer after working on the interior all winter! Needs a little TLC but it can be driven as-is. New interior project for this winter.

Where did you find it? I've been looking at 2001's (the way to go!) for a while, so must have seen this come by somewhere.
Just got another one, an '85. Should be here (in Costa Rica) the end of the month.
Congrats, enjoy it!

Nice find. I love these boats and there right in my price range. I wish I could talk my wife into one. She demands an open bow.

Yep, I remember that boat. Have been in contact with the guy but he was sort of vague about everything, communication took a while. And then it was sold.
At the same time someone was selling a genI FCT. He might still have it, don't know. I have his email, let me know if you're interested.

No clue, I don't have the email anymore. Btw, the tower was for sale in Cincinnati.
Did you already register at www.the2001.com?

the 2001 series from CC is a great boat. You can get a good wake out of that boat with a few sidesacs and some ballast in the front of the boat.

Damn. I know you have a shop that has the equipment for that, but damn. Nice work. Can you get a pic from the platform looking in so we can see the full spread? Seats and carpet?

Got some pics here before the rain came in today. We made a radio box and put in satellite radio, two 10inch subs in parallel, 300w amp and two 6x9's in the back. This way everything is pretty well hidden and can return the boat to the original condition in a snap if needed.
