My girlfriend has been riding a 132 Jett but she now wants something bigger.

In consideration is the 09 Ronix Coy (same shape as previous years i believe) aswell as just going for the 136 Jett

Anyway i am seeking some feedback on how this board rides. I have had a search but cant seem to find much detail.

Anyone riding one? Has anyone made the switch from a Jett to a Coy?

The Coy and Jett are really different boards. The Coy has a hybrid/continuous-3 Stage rocker while the Jett has a 3 stage. I don't know what the hybrid mix means exactly, but I didn't like the board at all. I ride the LF Watson and hated the 08 Coy. Course everyone is different. If you ride and enjoy the Jett, stick with it unless you can demo the Coy somewhere.

yep i realise they are different hence seeking some advice before we can get one to tril.

hybrid means its still a continour 3-stage it just rocks a bit later to provide more pop.

the jett she has is too small so she needs to get something new. so shopping around, they say a change is as good as a holiday

actionmama what level of riding are you at?

I guess I am a beginner...as I don't do any inverts or 360's. I can ride switch as well as I do normal. I can do butterslides, surface 360's, hs/ts w2w jumps, ts/hs w2w fs 180's. I snowboard, so riding on the water came easy.

If you can demo-demo. I bought the entire Coy setup last year and hated it. Luckily was able to get rid of it on ebay for a fair amount. You can get a deal on a combo on last years 136 Jett.

I guess I just know what I like now and until I can demo, I'll always stick with the LF Watson.

marksy - I have the Coy and absolutely love it. I've had people use my board for inverts and enjoy riding on it. No complaints here!
