i'm kinda a big guy. about 200 pounds. I'm looking at getting a new board, right now i ride a hyperlite motive 140. i think i want the ronix one 137. for the 137 it says the rider should weigh less than 160? Maybe it is just me but i feel like the 140 is a little long but i guess i probably wouldn't notice a couple of cm. difference

Ride whatever is comfortable. I'm around 200 and ride a 138. I've got a 140 too and don't notice a difference at all.

I do not know much about the Ronix boards since we do not carry that brand. But I would put you on a 138-140 size board. What sizes do they offer in that board? _________________ Wakeskating

macknjack, Motive has plenty of pop, honestly you might want to consider spending that money on lessons instead.
Just my $.02. _________________ wakeboards

i don't think i really need lessons. i just don't have to many friends that board. All of my friends want to try it now so it is me teaching them how to do it. I am getting better. i guess i wasn't progressing quite as fast as i hoped.
