I do not see how you can get any more weight in that boat.. Sounds like you already have upgraded to the larger bags in the back. Check and see if the Gravity center bag that Barefoot offers is any larger than the one you have now. But it sounds like you have the largest bag for your locker already. and then 400 in the pp. Sounds like you should have a huge wake.

agreed. I'm not sure if the '8 hull is the same as '04 but we just use the full GG sacks with the wakeplate at about half. Wake should be huge.

If you need more wake after that, either get more friends, or get a cruiser.

If you need to weight your boat like that to wakeboard you are just wasting gas. I would work more on technique then add more weight.

brocc: i appreciate your concern for my technique. i dont need that much weight, it just makes it more fun. actually, the first half of the season i rode with no ballast to better my technique. now i'm boosting into the flats with ease! maybe u should try more weight. it's more fun. & to hell with the gas prices!

Wake eater tell bernie quit being a vjj and stick his blind 180 or you wont buy any more boats.
Did the longer line and increased speed do the trick?

I ride at 22.5 on the 22SSV and put the rope at 75' with handle I think. Adjusting the wake plate will also let you customize the wake, steeper or more rampy.

I have the GG bag in the front (1100) and the stock bags in the back...with 3-6 people, full rears and 3/4 to full in the front, anything between 22.5 and 25 is money with the plate at 47%.

wow been a while since I posted on here...
anyways my friends got a 21v with gg ballast and we add a 1000 lb bow sac in the front, a 400lb vdrive sac in the walkway, then a 400 lb vdrive sac on the floor against the rear bench.
This setup works best for us with about 4 ppl in the boat, here is a pic at 24.2 at 80 and I'm 6'1
sorry for the bad pic quality, its taken from a video frame
