I have a 92 Brendella spectrum and i know this is a lossing battle but trying to get a bigger wake.

I've done some ballast just don't want to spend money the wrong way. Does anyone know how to get the most out of this boat?

Ballast where and how much with low free board?
Any kind of device or foil can i us?

I may sell it but want to get another year out of it not wanting to spend 15 or more K at this time.

last what is the best boat out there for wakeboarding for around 14-18K.

Thanks for any help on this and I know my boat is one of the worst for wakeboarding. Question

I think that boat is similar to the older Mastercraft boats. I would start by getting some sidesacs for each side of the engine.

Then work with the front and rear to see how much weight you can get away with in these areas. If you just add the rear sac you will probably not have a great wake unless you get some weight up front also.
