I have a 1999 SAN and it has a factory closed loop cooling system on the GT-40 engine. Have winterized I/O's for manny years so I know what it takes to winterize a boat just need a little help with the closed loop system.

I still do the winterize the I/O routine, but it is my understanding that a closed cooling system does not require much winterization because the coolant in the closed system is antifreeze rather than water.

There is still a raw water exchanger that cools the antifreeze that needs to be winterized.
