okay guys and gals i am interested in getting a board, boots and bindings, but i have no clue what to get. i am 41 so all i want to do is ride down hills no jumping, rail grinding or anything like that. i would like a setup that is beginner to intermediate, i don't wont to grow out of it as far as ability. if i get one i wont to be able to ride it for years to come. so the question is what brand, model or type of board should i get ?

I would look at:

boards:
Rome Anthem, Agent, Design (might be a bit much for you), Solution
Nitro Team, Eero, Pantera, Blacklight
Ride Society, Antic, Prophet, TMS

Boots: (best boot for you is the one the fits comfortably....don't skimp here)
Rome Folsom, Libertine
Nitro Select TLS, Team TLS (best quick lacing system)
Ride Anthem

Binds:
Rome 390's (best by far), Targa
Nitro (Raiden) Phantom, Machine
Ride SPi, NRc

Do a little research on thier websites & visit your local shop........

BTW.... Since I don't know your boot size, height, weight, etc.... I just noted the regular versions (non-wides)

Also, if you want to be able to ride the equipment a long time don't be affraid to spend a little more across the board (no pun intended)
