Hey guys, i have never tried wakeskatin, but have some intermediate wakeboarding experience. I also have a pretty solid skateboarding background as well. I am 6'2'' and weigh 185 lbs. I am wondering what a good board to start would be...i'm lookin to spend around $300-$400 if i need to. Thanks for any info. |

rockhouse, $300-$400 will buy any wakeskate you want. But I would probably say a 40 or 41 probably a 41 and you want something wide...oak wakeskates are good...and they have a ton for sale right now on sale for cheap..do you want a bi-level or concave? |

Yea size 41 would probably be good for you. Sattelyte makes some really good skates, as well as Integrity, Oak, and many others. Like br said $300-400 dollars will pretty much buy you whatever you want. |
