Has anyone had a chance to ride one yet? Any reviews out yet? Opinions? Suggestions?

I'm doing some early shopping as I won't be able to purchase one for another year and a half. Just doing research.

TIA

If your focus is at all on wakeboarding then it should be of very little interest to you. You will be much happier with an inboard or I/O if your focus involves watersports. (Inboard being preferred for wakeboarding.)

Overall you're much better off buying a used inboard, the quality will be leagues above SeaDoo. Check out the sticky for "Budget wakeboard boats" in this thread. it is a very solid place to start researching.

Good luck,

Thank You for the response. I'm looking more towards an all around. But if I could get better bang for the buck, research I will. =) I just love the way it looks that's all.

K-dub, did you say something? I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.

len, You asked for some advice, and it was given. What's the problem?

I'll expand on what K-dub is saying. SeaDoo realised wakeboarding is cool and that they could make money out of it, so rather than make a boat that is good for wakeboarding they saw all the 'cool' accessories available elsewhere like a Tower, Bling bling graphic, small ballast systems and lairy advertising campaigns and put them all together to create a line of boats that for all intents and purposes are actually cr*p at being wakeboard boats but great at looking like them.

Now a '99 Mastercraft 205v with a tower may look a little dated in comparison but is in fact superior in every way that counts as a wakeboard boat. Same goes with a mid 80's Supra Sunsport.

Any better? Very Happy

K-dub, I'm sorry. I have a very dry sense of humour. I was referring to your avatar picture causing a distraction sir. No harm. I am taking you guys advice and am reading up on it. So far everyone has been saying the same thing about the 230.

The Malibu is looking real nice. Do they offer financing on those?

len, as a matter of fact, I sell Malibus and can finance you all day long. How many 23 LSV Wakesetters would you like?

to expand on the info already posted here, stay away from the jet and buy anything with a prop on it and you should be fine. Aside from really not making much of a wake, the Jet also has problems with staying on a straight line while towing a rider...which is a bitch for the driver and rider...

btw...no harm taken.

Keep staring at my woman's ass and I might get mad though. Laughing

It only draws 12" of water while on plane. See boattest.com. They have a current test on it. The video shows a wakeboarder. Wake looks flat and frothy.
