I've had the CWB Sol for just less than one season. Will getting a better board than it do much for me?

Are you not landing it and you want to know if a better board will help you land it?

I was having the same problem when I first did backrolls. for me it ended up that I just wasn't standing tall at the wake. I thought at first it might have been the board but it wasn't it was just my release off the wake. Now that i have that all fixed i can pull them clean.

Hmm, maybe thats it, thanks for the advice. I was just wondering about my board cause its more of a beginner board, or at least thats how it was advertised.

It has more to do with technique. I know guys that have it down and can throw their whole arsenal while ridding just about anything. The Sol is a decent board, I don't think there would be a ton of immeadiate improvement in going to something else. In time yes, but I still think it comes down more to the carve, cut, approach, body stance, etc.

yeah..i agree with b-rad..i have a hyperlite fluid and i was thinking the same thing.....but i think its helped me out alot cuz i need more technique to be able to throw my inverets...im still not that great...but i can land a backroll and it looks decent too.....and my grabs and everything come off clean..just my thoughts

I landed my first tantrum behind my old blindside dv8, and it is far from a high perf. board. I think most of it has to do with your technique and form. the biggest thing a new board may help is the mental aspect of the trick
