How many chick-as ride in your boat that actually ride? (If you are a girl, feel free to start another poll up about guys) Note: Girls who just sit there and get tan don't count.

I have 4 that ride with us. 1 is my wife, i think she just boards because i like it though. Then there are three friends of ours that ride a lot with me.

I think every girl that has gone out with us has gotten up on the board. It is a lot easier for girls to get up then guys in my experience.

If they aren't going to ride I don't invite them. Simple as that. If they don't know how I'll teach them.

My wife rides, and one girl Jen rides with us sometimes. However, I would say usually it is just guys. Unfortunately. Nothing better then boarding with some chicks on boat.

yea one girl, shelby rides w/ us alot and the others just kinda come on the boat and chill. if they don't want to ride i'm not goin to force them too, it's their loss.

My wife tried to get up - she kept smacking her hands against the board on the starts (she was allowing the pull of the boat to pull her head over heels i think) - hurt so bad she was like - F this! I have her signed up for a lesson. ANy suggestions from females on this problem would be helpful. Or how the hell to get a women up Razz

needmoreair, if you tell her to put her arms ontop or beside her knees that should take care of the problem. She is more than likely putting her hands between her legs. Thus she gets pulled over herself. If you do a canon ball position, with your arms around your legs, it's almost impossible to get your hands caught on the board. It also helps keep her in that croutched position so she doesn't stand up too quickly. Give it a try!

I have 3 girls that ride with us (That are actually into wakeboarding). The first ride of the season for us was April 1st. I'm sure that water was dang near freezing. One of our girls went ridding that day, I was pretty proud. There seems to be more and more females popping up on our lake these days! I'm all for it really!

I have 2 that ride regularly, although 1, my wife, will not go out. My sons friend is the most determined person I have met, she faceplanted about 40 times learning, but never gave up.

Anyways I don't think that any crew is complete without a chick that can ride. My wife rides and she can only do some basic stuff, but she does go big and people watch in amazement because it is not very often that you see chicks jumping into the flats or even rding for that matter

siuski, I'm 22 and the girls are willing to learn. Not to mention I know enough girls who already ride that I can usually get an even ratio.

needmoreair- try seated dock starts super easy for girls and guys....

My buddies wife rides, she is pretty good, can clear the wake HS and everything.
My girl wont ride but she can drive with the best of them....of course PP is the only way to go....

I'm the only girl that rides with us. Its funny cuz when we pass other wakeboard boats that have females on there, afterwards I see they guys standing on the platform trying to show the girls the stance, etc. I think most girls don't really think of even trying it, but when they see another girl doing it they realize they can too! That's the whole reason I started riding, another girl came on the boat and said she would try it and I was like "then i will too!" and have been hooked ever since.

It ALWAYS helps the vibe in the boat when there are girls on the boat. They don't even have to ride, it just helps keep it all flowing well and they mellow out the mood.

My god, I'm a hippy! I've managed to integrate Vibe, flow and mellow in the one post seamlessly... Very Happy

I usually have seven people each time I go out and it breaks down to 3 girls to 4 guys or vice versa. I always have different friends coming and they will often bring friends too. I really wonder why some guys on here have a problem getting girls to ride with them. "I wakeboard" is the greatest pick up line in the world! The girls all do ride but most of them suck. I have a ten dollar bounty on the first girl I see jump the wake. None have even come close and some have been riding for over a year.

My sister and I just bought a tige...
There are days when it's just me n her riding. (girl to guy ratio--> 2 to 0)
We've managed to get a couple of other girls very interested in riding, last weekend a girl road with us who tried about 5 inverts. I say "try" because she hasn't landed 'em yet, but she's SO close.

I've had some contenders and pretenders. One contender face planted all day but kept at it. Gotta love that determination. Most are pretenders that want to ride in, not behind, the boat. I've got the $10 bounty out there too. No takers yet...

I usually am able to always have girls ride with us. I have friends that work at Hooters Smile

. And I have actually been able to teach several girls how to get up and ride (a few that said it would never happen) . It is so cool to see girls so stoked to ride.......
