Considering buying. I like the boat, but I am afraid it is not going to be much of a wakeboard boat. Your help would be appreciated.

Generally speaking aren't v drive boats better for wakeboarding?

v dive boats are better but that boat is the same hull that started it all. back in 97 the pro air nautique used that same hull. so its tried and true if you weight the boat right you will be able to get a nice wake. it may not be quite as big as v drives but pretty close.

the whole idea behind a vdrive being a better wakeboard boat is only because it puts the weight of the engine in the stern of the boat. You can make a direct drive have just as good of a wake buy adding weight to the stern.

Thanks for the replys.......got it. V drive would be easier as you don't have to mess around with ballast.

you always have to worry about ballast it makes the wake bigger which is what you want.

I like the nautiques. I was riding behind a super air 210 team edition. It's great and throws a huge wake.
