New Bindings

I just got my '07 liquid force transit bindings, and they're really sick, but they are also unbelievably tight around the toes. I stuck bottles in the front to try and stretch them out a bit, but i'm genuinely afraid my ankles are gonna snap off when I fall...lol

Mine are the same way. Toes don't even come out of the ends. They've loosened up a bit since i got them though, so they should feel better as you go.

Is the material on the back of yours peeling off? The first day i had mine out the black stuff on the back began peeling off.. Curious to see if it was all bindings or mine.

Chad H, I've noticed that mine has started to bubble and wrinkle up in the back. I think its all of them, and just a poor choice for the fabric or something. They still ride fine though. Very Happy

Chad H, Alot of 07 bindings had that problem. I have 06 transits and they were ungodly tight, enough to where my feet would cramp, lose circulation, and turn purple before I would quit riding. I think their size run a little small.

I just used my new pair for the first time this weekend, Jesus they are tight. After my first run with them, when I took my feet out they were asleep! It was a really long run, but still...I ordered size 10-11, and I wear an 11. Hopefully they start to get more and more broken in.

I have the same bindings - mine were tight at the start too. I usually tighten the top laces all the way up, and kinda just take the slack out of the bottom and have no problems with them anymore. I've only come out twice all year, once on an underroated ts backroll, and one on a bs 180 turned 270. Mine peeled in the back also - nice to know its not just mine.

so i answered my own question about my feet coming out of the bindings....no...they dont theyre soo tight...after a few hard falls yesterday and today my knees feel pretty mangled up...its all good though

I thought my feet would never come out of my bindings, but two weeks later, I'm still limping after a big w2w nosedive lol.
