Will somebody please explain to me how a roastbeef pete rose can be claimed as a new trick? Does that mean I can do a roast beef 360 and name a new trick?

Check out the new wakeboarder mag if you dont know what im talking about.

It is definitely not a new trick. Not only is not a new trick, it doesn't look nearly as good as a method pete. I guess we should just renamed all of the Pete's now. I will call the nose pete a K-Wip, that has a nice right to it. And I think the slob pete should be called the Slob your Nob Laughing

in the last few years i have come to the conclusion that the editors and such at WB mag are a bunch of asshats. just plain dumb.

Anybody care to post the pic/sequence/article? What does the 'Ozzy $#*%' mean? Was it an Aussie who pulled this junk, or was the 'new' trick called an Ozzy something?

Ricky Gonzalez landed a pete rose with a roast beef grab and apparantley he named it. I was baffled by this myself. Confused

Well then again why are method raleys called Hoochie Glides, Stalefish Raleys called OHHs, and grabbed Vulcans called Bee Stings? Hmm. I agree its dumb, but its not a new thing

yep not new, Magazines just dont seem to know the sport that they are writing about...yeah i know great idea lets hire people who have no clue what wakeboarding is and make them publish a magazine to the public who actually knows alot about the sport.

not to steal any of ricky g's thunder, but i saw keith lidberg do indy pete's off the wake back in 04 after a few failed t/s roll to blind attempts, he did it first try. the trick definitely does not need to have a new name.
