Suggest a new board

I started wake boarding last year and have an Omega 139. I have the Shane closed toe boots absolutely love them and would not use anything else. The Omega doesn't have enough pop for me. I tried a friends 07 trip board and somewhat liked it. It was a little big for me it was a 142. It gripped way to hard. I took the center fins off and it was way more manuverable, a little to loose. Had it had a hair more grip without the center fins it would have been a decent board. I'm no pro but I can jump wake to wake and grab the board.

Now I'm looking at the 08 shane board and boots. Can anyone comment on how "loose" this board is?

the omega pops like hell. you should just work on your progressive edge, and you can make that board boost you really well

The trip is not what you are looking for if you are looking for big pop. That board is made for speed. Look into an axis, witness, or lyman. And luke is right, the omega is real poppy
