It came back 3 days after I was off my antibiotics, and boy is it worse then ever.
Hurts like hell and I get to take even bigger pills for 10 more days woohoo.
One cool thing I found is the white patches on the tonsils.
I hope it goes away this time.... |

have you ever had strep throat? how does it compare?
strep throat was the worst thing ive ever expirenced

bass69, I've never had strep throat. This was my first time with tonsillitis.
When your not eating it is just a discomfort at the back your throat. But when you eat, drink or even swallow your spit, it kills. |

QNev, Thanks man
So far I have figured out if I collect as much spit as i can in my mouth before I swallow, then tilt my head back that there is little pain.
I think it was my toothbrush that made me get it again. So I am going to throw out my toothbrush soon, but I don't know how long to wait before I use a new one. |

Oh man I had some wicked strep some years back. I was running a fever all day long and cold sweats at night that literally soaked through my mattress to the box spring. Throat looked like I had two golf balls at the back. Not cool...

Problem with milk is the coats it leaves behind and sometimes is a vector and feeding source for bacteria.
