I've seen articles written about flowboards before, but few of them mention how it rides when not going downhill. My question is, doe the ride suffer on flat ground due to the rocker-wheel setup?

It doesn't really suffer, you just have to get used to it. Keep your foot in the center of the board when you're pushing and it goes straight nice and smooth. Put your foot to one side and you'll tip a bit. It really is a fun board though. If you're gonna get one get the 32' or 36'... I have the big one (42?) and two 36's and the 36s are a lot more fun. You can kickflip, heelflip, ollie stairs, basically any trick you can do on a normal skate. I think the 32" would be REALLY fun... |
