I have a boat and a couple boards, but my boat is small and puts up a crappy wake. I can barely fit 4 or 5 people and my boards, so no room to add any weight or anything to try to make a better wake. It works fine for just riding behind, but would be cool to see what it's like to get pulled behind a real boat. my boards are crap too, but they work fine for me since I don't know anything about it anyhow. I got an offer I couldn't refuse to buy the boat and figured if I have a boat I might as well get some wakeboards. I don't know anyone that knows anything about wakeboarding so we've gone out a couple times and have been teaching ourselves basically.

no tower, those things are more than i paid for my boat. all I have is a 16' reinell with a 130 hp i/o. I got a good deal on the boat since it was from someone we know that is moving out of state and didn't want to take it with them, so they sold it to us for about 1/4 of what the low blue book is on it. I've only had the boat for a couple months and just got the wakeboards a couple weeks ago. I was looking at a pylon but don't know that my little boat is even worth getting one. I would just like to try wakeboarding with someone that actually knows what they're doing behind a boat a little more set up for it before I decide how much money I want to invest in it. we've gone up to yale the last few weeks and we'll probably go up there again this sunday since it's supposed to be like 93 or something. If there is anyone that might be going to yale on sunday that has a real boat that wouldn't mind meeting up and giving me a pull behind it for a few just so I could see what it's like with a tower and a real wake that would be cool.

btw, that samson sports place on lake road is right up the street from my house, do you work there? I thought about going in there and looking at towers but there is no way I could afford one anyhow so haven't bothered. My work has been really slow this year because building has been down due to the econony so money has been tight this year.
