What do you guys know about these bouts. We are looking at a 1990 with 350 hours. IT was totally babied and looks hella nice. IS this a good boat it seems pretty nice. ITs got ballast already in and a tower with speakers and racks al;l for 8,500 . IS it gonna be good?

Is is a shortline comp? If it is it is one of the best ski boats in the day. I know a guy that geot the same boat a few years back is similar condition and it was nice. It sounds like a great price, but remember it is still a ski boat and not a wakeboarding boat so you can't expect a huge wake but I don't think you can beat it for the $. I believe the shortline still has the same hull today. Does the boat look like this?

Seems high.
A buddy picked up a 96 with the PCM 351 for $6500 with 300 hours. It was in beautiful condition and ran very nice. It was in Colorado, where the boat prices are much higher. It has a Skylon, not a tower though. The wake was not bad for a starter boat with lots of weight.
