whenever i do anything wake to wake i've noticed in pictures that my nose flies way up. am i doing something weird when i take off? like my height is okay (like 3-4 feet... could be better) and i'm landing comfortably but i look kinda weird in the air. the handle isn't like crazy high or anything about waist/hips. i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. i didn't notice this until i saw a bunch of pics of myself and how lame it looked. _________________ www.aceofdymondz.com <-- Ace of Dymondz Board Shop

your leanin back dude. get your body over the board and when you go off the wake stand straight up.
if that doesnt help try putting your weight forward when you hit the wake. _________________ Land of 10,000 Lakes |

the same thing happens to me, for me its because im stiffining my front leg for pop. but my back leg stays limp/bent so it absorbs. so all my pop is in the front and the nose tries to hit me in the chin half the time
its a old skier habit i cant seem to shake. _________________

Yep, make sure you are extending with both legs when you come off the top of the wake. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

when you in the air, make a mental note to suck your back knee up to your chest, and tail grab it, should take care of that problem,
on my boat, if your riding and your nose is going really high in the air we just call it a "captain morgan" lol
oh and by the way to fix the problem all together, you need to put your weight more evenly balanced on takeoff, should clear things up, sounds like your riding back foot heavy |
