Yes, Its an I/O...I bought it originally for tubing and some skiing and quickly became addicted to wakeboarding. I felt this might happen so when I ordered the boat I had factory wake tower on it...Anyways..posted is before and afters...Now I have two 350lb fat sacs (one in the locker, one under the bow filler cushion) and a respectable wake I feel at least. I went from a 1973 Starcraft Holiday to this, so its pretty nice...Anyways, I'm sure ill get bashed for postin an I/O but here it is anyways....The pic is trim all the way down with 2 people in the boat and no ballast...I need to put the ballast pics up here...

SilverMustang35, Not sure why you would get bashed for owning an I/O... That is a beautiful boat that should serve you well for many years to come. Very Happy

Exactly what Dragon88 said. Thats a good looking boat. I like the yellow. I love looking around on this site at all the wakeboats but when it comes to my next boat, I would love to have a new cobalt or four winns. Are those sun glasses in the picture. How do you not loose them when you fall? I have lost 3 pairs just falling off my face into the water leaning over the boat to rinse my hands.

Thank you, I figured i'd catch alot of heat for buying an I/O, esp. a new one lol...its been a good boat and once we fill the fat sacs that front end sits low in the water and produces a decent wake. The Yellow was my favorite color and stuck out great for me...we're the only one on the lake like it...only one in the area like it ive noticed lol...As far as the sunglasses, There is a floating strap attached to them and they are tightened on the back of my head. I wanted to board but not get sun in my eyes. I got it at Dicks Sporting Goods for around 8 bucks. They have only fallen off of me once (knock on wood) and I've had some bad falls. But when they fell they were just floating beside me.
Thanks again for the nice comments, made me feel a little better for havin an I/O
Greg

Looks nice and looks like it is putting off a pretty good wake. We have a Bayliner and we started using sacks this year. Out of curiosity, how much weight are you running in sacks and where are you putting them. You shouldn't feel bad or feel like you're gonna get slammed for not having a wakeboat. D88 put it well. The point is to have something that will be enjoyable for you and you family to use.

I need to put the wake with the sacs on here. They definately helped alot.
J Croft, it has the 4.3L Mercruiser Alpha 1 190Hp engine in it. Its not alot of power, but ballasts emptied I can get it to about 55 and it still is torquey with the sacs and 4 ppl and gas mileage is awesome lol...we can be out for 6 hours of boarding and only use about a quarter of gas...but 52 gal tanks does hurt from empty fill up...Okie Boarder, I'm running (2) 350lb straight line V Drive twins. One is in the locker, fits perfectly, and the other is in the bow under the bow filler cushion. I got them off ebay for a steal ($35 for both New in box) and picked up the pump from around here. I can definitely tell the difference when they are in, the front end sinks down and it planes in a second.

I'd be worried about getting poked in the eye on a nasty digger.

Sick boat though. I/O wakes always have a fun shape even without a lot of weight. For a cleaner lip, try trimming up just a little bit. You'll notice a big difference.

The Funny thing is usually it blocks water from hitting my eyes as bad when I break a fall with my face...lol...We trim it up about halfway nowadays and run 700lbs in fatsacs and it has made that wake alot more agressive and cleaner...it was like night and day playing with the trim and adding weight. I need to put the new pics up of the wake...

well.. you know I'm partial to the brand..

and yeah I kinda felt the same way you did about my i/o... But then I thought.. I'm a 28 y/o military married man, with a 2 and half y/o son.. This boat is what I could afford and it serves the purpose well. I bought it to have fun, spend time with friends and family, and to NOT spend a bunch on a gas bill. Maybe once I get my commission as a officer (in 2.5 yrs), I'll sell it and get a nice used wakeboat.

I DID NOT realize that I would only want to wakeboard when I get out on the water though! Cool

I went from a 1973 Starcraft Holiday to this and it was a good move I think. I am happy that I can be out on the water, boarding all day and maybe use 40 bucks in gas. I think the next thing i'll get will be a used wakeboat, but for now, i'll just put perfect pass stargazer on it and little things here and there. I've got a ring I have to afford coming up soon so the PP goes on hold for a little. The bags sure did help and really dont hurt gas mileage that bad either. When we go out now all we do is board. This irritates my gf quite a bit nowadays so im trying to balance that. I took all my tubes out and skis and all we have is weight and boards....its addictive thats for sure.
This is my favorite two things from last weekend Smile She will prolly kill me for putting this pic up...lol

Might want to re-think the ring if boarding irritates her. That won't get any better after marriage-especially when your money is combined and she is financially contributing to the boat costs. Better clear that matter up or start thinking harder about the PerfectPass coming first.

Well, I think the thing she is irritated most about is that she feels we are on a schedule to board...we get up in the morning to get moving and hit butter then people come out and we go eat, and then board again, I think she just wants to not do anything and sit on the lake, while boarding is like crack to me....She said that she feels it was at one point fun but now its more like work...Sadly its learning process for me and boarding has become one of those things I want to keep learning and eat sleep and breathe...blah..lol
Has anybody else been in a similar situation?

Yeah it was awesome...the one on the right looks like it does because there is nobody sitting on that side...my gf sits in the front middle looking back at me and it doesnt balance well...im thinking of putting an 85 lb bag on the right to level it out and clean up the wake a little more...

I put 2 sandbags like you use for a car when it snows on my port side to balance that out. Cleaned the wake up nicely. Your wake looks pretty nice.

Tell her it IS a schedule and it IS all about riding. What is wrong with that? Very Happy

Haha...I'll try telling her that...don't know how well that will go...I'm sure ill be sleeping in the boat for a couple nights...so maybe it isnt too bad of an idea Laughing
Yeah, I had sandbags to experiment with and liked it so moved to those sacs, figure i'll just finish it off with another 85lb-er. We've got the technique down to being able to empty while moving and fill while slowly moving...
I'm going to try to devote one day a weekend to boarding and another to her Smile
