no not for a winch. that would be some serious over kill. its for about a 10 or 12 ft. fiberglass boat i found. i found it bottom up on the bank of a river here in brazil. now when i say fiberglass,... this sucker is thick. i would really like to try to wakeskate behind it. im going crazy not riding down here and was thinking about getting into wakeskating. just wondering what i should use to power this beast seeing as it is not a lite aluminum hull or anything. thanks for any info...........

It's possible depending on your weight. If the boat were aluminum, then most def.

Yep, depends on your weight. At 190 I tried to get up behind an aluminum boat - 30hp motor and it took about 10 seconds to get out of the water fully.
