Damn dude, that thing is impressive. When you said "rooftop rail" I thought you were going to build that thing to clear that boathouse.

Why a helmet but no vest? Those rails will tear up your skin if you don't have protection.

Thanks. Its a very fun rail to hit.

I guess its no the "cool thing".

I always wear one. I've ate it on a few rails enough times, i rather have a little extra padding.

Are those 2x6's that you built the frame out of ? We have some floating dock like those, and i've been drawing up plans recently, was planning on using 2x4s but it looks like 2x6s might be the way to go. once you get the frame on the docks you can pretty much build anything out of it.

Punkpenguin, I used 2x6's for the frame. I was going to use 2x8 but i didnt want the wood in the water so, the 6's worked out great and plenty strong enough.

Yo are right, once you have a good base, you can build whatever you want.

We should have some footage of us hitting it up soon.
