I have been riding for almost a year now. I have been landing 360's and tantrums pretty consistently now. But i have one problem. I don't seem to get very much height compared to my cousin who i ride with. I can land into the flats all day. But it seems i am not getting as much height as him. At first i thought it was the board (I have a 136 demented and he has 137 oasis) but then he rode mine and was going huge. i notice that i carry much more speed than him into the wake and i cut out a little further. Could that be the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated! _________________ www.lost.eu/5fc72 Click Here for world'd best biggest online Game |

| You need a more progressive edge going into the wake. Not just a full out carve back in. Also extend your legs at the top of the wake which should help you get some more pop. |

I had teh same problem. I weigh about 40 or 50 pounds more than my brother, and he always got great height, and I always went cruising out into teh flats. No matter what I tried, I had trouble finding the sweet spot for pop. I started riding a little faster with a longer rope and the extra firmness really helped me out. If youre a bigger guy, try a little more speed. _________________ Long Island, NY & Canada Lake, NY (addirondacks)

haha well actully i am 15 pounds smaller lol. I am going to try sitting down more befor i hit the wake. And i noticed i have a problem edging all the way through the wake. I kind of level off right before the take off. Maybe this is why i can jump far but not high? _________________ www.lost.eu/5fc72 Click Here for world'd best biggest online Game |

To find the so called "sweet spot" where you will pop off the wake the highest you, want your board to almost leveled off. More like flattening your board so you will pop off the wake rather than cutting through the wake.
Look at maybe adjusting your form, your progressive edge, or the way you are popping off the wake. _________________ Land of 10,000 Lakes |
