My bro and i like it cause we gots the wedge but by itself its too damned small of a kick. so my buddies that have fat sacs would put them into our boat(half full each) on each side. this makes a killer wake but my dad keeps bitchin and moanin that we are overheating the enginge. anyone got suggestions or wanna sell me some side sacs??(i know that i can load it up with fat people too and i have done that) |

| Doesn't your engine have a temperature gage? If it does, you should check what temp it runs at with and without ballast and see if there's actually a difference. You'll probly be able to prove him wrong. |

From what I have seen, and I happen to own a Malibu that we have put sacks in, the engine temp is hardly raised at all if it even is raised, so yeah I would go with bluefish and show your dad if it even does raise. _________________ Pulling fat people out of the water is fun...I get to use my engine. |

Yeah, it shouldn't raise the temp. too much. You should get a different prop though if you are adding weight to what was originally a waterski boat. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

If you know what your doing, than the process is not all that hard. You just have to be willing to do it. You could always buy a prop that the dealer says is "universal". But if you really want the better performance on each, than you should go for an exclusive prop geared for wakeboarding, and still keep the skiing one. Good luck. _________________ Pulling fat people out of the water is fun...I get to use my engine. |
