| It would probably be more locked in. But really there is no such thing, just makes it easier for the board companies to get you buy new gear. |

| there are differences, alot of the beginner boards have bigger fins to make the board more stable, the rocker is more of a prefernce thing, as well they usually come with cheap bindings that have next ot no support. But really there is no need to upgrade your board, if you cant do a 360 on a $300 setup you will not be able to do it on an $800 setup. |
