I have taken a different board to the lake for the last few weekends,
HL Imperial
HL PULSE
HL State
Ronix Vault
I like them ALL what is the difference? Im new to the sport, I can clear W2W, land in the flats, surface spins and am working on grabs and beginner handle passes. All the boards feel good to me. I dont see ant major difference between them.

Here is my question, when you were just starting out did your board choice really matter that much? At this point am I so new that I could just pick any board and learn on that? I swear I can't tell the difference between a continuous and three stage rocker to save my life...

I have started wakeboarding again after about 3 years, been on the water for about a month. I have a CWB Sol 141 (Beginner board) and a CWB Flame 134 (Intermediate). I could do more on the Sol than I could on the Flame at 145lbs.

About a week and a half ago I went and picked up a LF Byerly 137 with boots and well I fell in love with the board at first sight (I actually intended to buy an Omega; yet another beginner/intermediate board), I took it to the water and by the end of the day I had gone from doing w2w, to w2w 180's, and landing a w2w 360. It was also that day of riding when I realized how little pop the CWB Sol had and how much harder I had to work on my older boards.

Moral of the story, pick the board you like the most and feel you will be able to learn and continue to progress with. Different moldings and lines result in different tweaks here and there that you will probably only start to feel once you start really learning the board. Or at the very least be able to compare side by side one run after the other.

If you go to the Liquid force website, they have videos for each of their boards, reason why I am directing you here is because they explain what certain lines do and don't do so that you can see them with the hyperlite boards.

Find the board you feel you will want to be on every single day and that will be the winner.

starting out you want a board that you can carry along with ya while you improve.

HL Imperials are made wide. as wide as they go. 18" so if youlike the feel of that one you want to ride 2-3 cm shorter than you normally would. The wideness of the board will also give you maximum pop off the wake.

HL Pulse are one of those all around good boards. responsive carving with a continuous rocker that will give you pop when you want it.

HL State are interesting boards because they are a-symmetrical which will allow you to ride higher out of the water on your toe edge. giving a rider their own technical feeling. This board is more likely to be on sale, cheaper.

Ronix Vault. Well ronix are excellent boards, however this certain one is more on the lower end of their wakeboard line. It has the same set up as the state being a-symmetrical for more stability on your toes.

I'd say if you were going to choose a board out of only those, it would be the imperial. But you gotta go with something you felt comfortable with.
