| Well I can't do backrolls and can't really do much on a wakeboard at all but what I see from your videos is that you are falling backwards and letting the board fall out in front of you. Not sure if it is fear of catching an edge or your just edging a little too hard but your falling out. Another thing it could be is that you aren't rotating fast enough to come around and spot your landing therefore you aren't getting the board underneath you. Good luck on your backrolls though it seems like you almost have them. |

Hard to really tell from the video, but it doesn't look like you are keeping the handle at your waist and in toward your body while rotating. _________________ www.slobgear.com

I guess people are just getting bored of answering BR posts. They are thosuands of them. Do a search - there is a load of useful stuff. E.g. there is a learnwake clip for a BR progression to ease some of the pain on this thread http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=76951
Keep your edge all the way up the wake, and leave it loads later. You have your weight right on your back foot all the way up the wake. Your weight distribution should be the same as a HS w2w. But you are not far off. Keep at it. |

| you need to do more of a progressive edge - let yourself start to drift in and keep cuttng harder as you get to the wake. It looks like you're just setting your edge and then throwing the backroll - let the wake help you. If you're edging hardest at the top of the wake it will kick you around. |
