Ok, here it is. I can get up and do some edging and everything like that. But I have a serious problem. Becuase of a recent theft of property and the cost of having to pay for replacements, we do not have the money right now to even afford a pylon, let alone a tower for our boat. So I am being pulled by the ski ring in the back(yeah it sucks)
What I am wondering is if it is even possible to pull any tricks. When I have ridden with a higher rope before I could at least do ollie 180's, but now I can't do anything. Is it crucial to get something higher for anything to happen, or is it a big mental thing I need to work on.
Sorry the post is so long, and thanks for the help. _________________ Pulling fat people out of the water is fun...I get to use my engine. |

Its not crucial for you to get a pylon/tower. It does however, make it slightly more difficult to get air because without one you are being pulled down. You can get better without a pylon/tower, and there have been cases of people without towers that can do inverts. I think its more of a mental thing than anything else, and you just need to overcome that and you'll be good again. Oh yeah, sucks that you got some stuff stolen, people like that deserve to be shot in the kneecap and left in agony. _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

Yeah, I can definately feel the down force. But, yeah it does seem like most of the problem is my mental strategy. I guess I will just have to work on it some, while trying to get rid of the anger about the stolen stuff. Thanks for the advice. Oh and Mister where do you ride im from socal also. _________________ Pulling fat people out of the water is fun...I get to use my engine. |

yeah its no problem. a friend of mine lands tantrums and backrolls off a boat with no tower or pylon all day long. however if you are more advanced i can't help you all i know is that simple inverts and spins are very possible. _________________ I once saw a fork lift pick up a pallet of forks, it was way too literal for me. |

| You should still be able to do ollie 180's, even if you use the rollers. |
