LF Shane vs Ronix Ibex

I've been riding an 05 HL State for 2+ years now and feel that its time to get something new. I think the State seems a bit heavy and slow. I'd say I'm an intermediate rider. I talked to the local shop and he recommended a LF Shane which I could demo. I've also been looking at the Ronix Ibex on wakeside, but the local shop doesn't have one to demo. What are your thoughts and opinions on these boards?

Also, will my current 06 HL 3DS bindings fit on these boards?

I rode the Shane a couple of days ago. It's a damn solid board, lands very easy, grips good and has good pop. My only complain is that it felt a little bulky and heavy when comparing it to my HL Imperial.

I don't know about the Ronix.
