I'm looking at getting new bindings. However I'm not sure if I should get open or closed toe bindings. Is there a benefit to either of these?
I've got a LF board so I'd probably stick to LF bindings. Right now I'm looking at the Sphinx (open toe) or the Watson (closed toe). _________________ Matt |

comocozi,
Have you considered the shane closed toe? I've ridden them and they are really comfy.
I'd also consider the transits. |

I ride the 07 Shane Limiteds and I love them. Maybe you should demo a pair of those. _________________

I ordered the shane CTs but they sent me some Watson CTs so i kept them instead. Great boots, super comfy, all my mates want to ride my board now cos they sh*t all over anything any of them have ridden before.
I would recommend these 1000% _________________ burrrap |

| the sphynx are really soft bindings, they fit really well but there is very little supprt. there have been times when i land out in the flats leaning a bit too far forward and my knee almost touches the nose of the board (exagerated a bit) good for tweaking grabs tho |

i feel with my closed toe boots, i have a lot more control because my toes can help me. when i ride open toe i can definately tell there is a little difference. boots also feel more confortable. I would go with some ronix boots because they heat mold them to your feet, so it feels amazing every time i put my feet in them. and you have an excuse for not letting others use ur board but im just a girl, what do i know... _________________ last week, i landed a tootsie roll and a 1080...visually.. |
