| You are not squaring up enough on the wake. If you throw it away from the boat rather than square than you come round kinda revert. I know this because I am the master of that particular method of flaming the damn things... |

| I used to struggle with this as well. It's definately caused by not squaring up enough. What helped me was to make sure and wait a little longer to throw the trip. Also, make sure you switch edges before throwing it. This should help you square your shoulders. |

to help you square up, look back at the shoreline, this helped us heaps, we ride in a river and after you switch edges we look back at the shore to the side where we cut in from. _________________ Wide-A-Wake Board Sports

| Make sure you are starting the rotation straight over, which means looking straight back with your head. Your body will follow your head, so your problem might be opening your shoulders/head to the boat. |

Oh, and never eat mushrooms before you try a tantrum. Apparently they can give you a bad trip. |

I discovered this weekend that sometimes I take off square, but pull my front hand across my body (which brings you round to revert) during the rotation.
Worth making sure that is not your problem - if it is just make sure that you let your front arm stay right out to your side (i.e. towards the boat). Don't pull it across your chest like doing a gym cable crossover... |

I have the same problem when I feel that I’m going short because of a bad takeoff when the water is not good, I do it instinctively and it hurt the ankles real bad, so avoid pulling the rope across your body, just make sure that you throw your back arm and look straight back with your head and when landing absorb a lot with your knees, that will help correct your position if you are not going completely squared, doing that I have been able to ride out from a very crossed landing, it will give you a big pull and take a lot of strength on the hands to keep the rope but you will ride out of the trick. _________________ I was wrong now I wakeboard |
