Has there been anything new on the CO front? Are any newer boats (other than Centurion side exhaust) safer than older boats? Wakesurfing still considered stupid because of CO dangers?

We teak surf and I see no danger in it. How did someone die teak surfing? Granted, people finde a way to die in all sorts of odd manners, so I'm not surprised, but it is curious.

Dusty

When you get hot on a 100 degree day in Texas and the boat is going from A to B or someone else is boarding, its nice to jump in and cool off and body surf. Beats sweating on the seat!

LOL if you're ever in Dallas / Fort Worth come out for a ride if you want. And yeah, its mine. No point in putting things in signature pics that don't belong to you. But then again it is the internet, so I guess that's expected! Smile

Regards,

Dusty

CO is not good stuff to breath in. Teak surfing is definitely a risk.

I would imagine though that wakesurfers aren't subject to as large amounts of CO since they are standing up rather than laying right behind the exhaust.

Unless you have side exhaust or good turn down pipes i wouldn't advise teak surfing.
