Hello, I am new here and just needed some advice on which board to get. I am not a newbie to the sport. I have a 2004 Liquid Force Skimskate 54 right now but I just can't seem to stay up without the rope. One of my problems is that I am not surfing with a huge wake. I have a 1999 Mastercraft Sportstar so it doesn't throw the biggest wake but I have seen people surf with smaller wakes. I just sold my fatsacks so I don't have any to use now. I just put everone towards that side of the boat. I am thinking that a different type of board might help me out. I have been looking at the O'Brien Alias 5'0". Do you think that this would be a good board for me. _________________ "A day at the lake is worth a month in town"

I've never ridden an Obrien, but for a smaller wave you are going to need a larger board that rides high in the water. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News
