ive been searching but only coming up with info on how to jump w2w. i was out yesterday for my second time ever wakeboarding, and im officially hooked. coming from a snowboarding background for years, im able to get up and ride & i was even doing surface 180's to switch yesterday having fun just riding around and playing(boardsliding) on the wake. my biggest issue is now how do i start jumping the wake??? does any of it have to do with the driver on the boat? whenever i try to cut in on the wake it just seems really awkward. cruising around is fun but now i want to try and get some air? any pointers would be much appreciated.

When edging out toeside lean back a little while leaning on your toes. If you don't lean back, it will feel like you are falling forward and can't edge very well. Also try to keep the handle at your hip, if the handle is way out in front of you, it's harder to edge. Just lean back and over your toes, from then you can read this thread. http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=76452

For jumping, learning the Progressive Edge is key to getting the good pop.
