i have a pair of hyperlite vario bindings. was riding this weekend, went to put them on and the back hand strap completely pulled off in my hand. the stitches didn't come out it ripped the rubber all the way around. i have had these bindings for about 2 1/2 seasons. is this normal, did they just wear out? my feet slide in them pretty easy so i dont think i was putting to much stress on the rubber.
how often do you guys/gals get new bindings?

Yeah I know what you mean, I had vario's on my first board and went through 2 pairs of them in 1/2 season. the stitching kept tearing out, finally I got new bindings and board. The varios are a nice entery level binding but they are bottom of the line from hyperlite, surprised you got 2 1/2 seasons on them.......
