spent the last few weeks filming my buddy eric wakeboarding. filmed in high def widescreen. and then crapified by youtube lol. hes helped me alot with my riding this summer and i wanted to give something back.
the oringal looks damn good. but youtube takes the widescreen and squishes it to 4:3 which is why the aspect ratio is goofy looking and everything is tall. and of course the HD footage goes to crap and gets all grainy with the compression from uploading to youtube. i hope to have eric host the origonal for download in a week or so. did all the filming and editing myself. really looses the feel on youtube
i didnt get alot of the shots i wanted but let me know what you think.

Loading it now...I really miss Lake Belton, thanks for the footage. I usually preferred Stillhouse for boarding when I lived there. Army guys? _________________

Just watched it. Looks great and I loved seeing Belton again...nice work and thanks for sharing. Here's some picky comments if you're looking for feedback:
1. the transition between the first and second song is abrupt - maybe fade out and in.
2. some sections have lots of heelside tricks in a row...it looks repetitive - maybe sequence some of the surface tricks and toeside tricks into these sections
3. slow down the motion on the long-distance shots - the real-time or fast motion (I can't tell if you sped it up or not) doesn't fit with the music and makes the trick look rushed
4. for the slow-motion shots (especially the ones filmed low on the transom) see if you can time the kick and the landing with the sharp drum beat of the song
5. make the film 90 seconds shorter, add one minute to the crash section and throw some music in there (POD "Here Comes the Boom" would be awesome with the impacts synched with "Boom")
Word. Great film. _________________

As cliche as "NU metal" tracks to X-TREME sports? _________________
