Trust me. Its not too bad up nort'. But we are only a hop and a skip to Chicago or Madison. If you want to get a gander just roll through Scottsdale, AZ seems all the hot ones migrate there after they skank out.

Or it could be my personal taste.

I think it is directly related to the other world talentville that is ASU. Which is feed by all the dimwits from LA who can't get into USC or UCLA. Some of which stick around to whore off the money in Scottsdale.

Perhaps above is well known?

it is well known, but it's also accurate. it's texas tech, or texas state, but in a rich sub-city of a real city. the perfect storm.
